Our Makita HM1317 medium demolition hammer is an ideal tool for general demolition and for breaking reinforced slabs, up to 100 mm depth. It delivers 730 – 1450 blows per minute and weighs a manageable 17 kg. The motor puts out a decent 1.5KW of power. The hammer also makes a fair bit of noise, so hearing protection must be worn.
